As we head into the season for Academy Award contenders, I would like to offer my list for what I consider the Top 10 movies of the year — so far.
With the studios getting ready to release their big guns for Oscar season, these are the movies that have resonated with me in the first two-thirds of 2015. I am listing them in alphabetical order with no preferences:

Amy
The End of the Tour
Ex Machina
Inside Out
Mad Max: Fury Road
Me and Earl and The Dying Girl
Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation
Mr. Holmes
Straight Outta Compton
What We Do in the Shadows

Of course, there are plenty of movies still to be released and I am sure this list will change.
