Dinosaurs have been on movie screens nearly since the birth of the medium. Winsor McCay brought them back to life in his 1913 animated “Gertie the Dinosaur.”
Since then, they have been roaring across theater screens on a semi-regular basis.
A renewed interest in dinosaurs occurred with the release of Steven Spielberg’s “Jurassic Park” in 1993. The franchise continues today with the release earlier this year of “Jurassic World: Dominion.”
